A killer who was caught on CCTV brutally murdering a man in broad daylight has been unmasked. ‌

William Lewis , 57, has been jailed for at least 18 years after he stabbed William Copeland to death moments after the men appeared to embrace each other. The thug then turned the knife on the 36-year-old's wheelchair bound father Thomas, 59, during the attack in Hamilton on October 21, 2024. ‌

Lewis was sentenced at the High Court in Glasgow on Wednesday and police have today released a mugshot of the thug. Detectives slammed the "shocking and violent attack" but said they hoped the conviction would bring the family "some level of comfort". ‌
