PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Big weather changes are on the horizon for Arizona with a significant warm-up and a storm system both moving our way.
A trough of low pressure moving by to the north brought high clouds to parts of the state yesterday and leaves Arizona with a slight cool down today through Saturday. After several days in the upper 80s and low 90s, afternoon highs peak near 86 degrees today and near 85 tomorrow. This is still a few degrees above average for this time of year in Phoenix.
Skies will be clear today through the weekend, and winds should be light in the Valley, although breeziness is expected today in the high country. Strong high pressure building in over the weekend will lead to unseasonably warm conditions by Sunday and Monday, when the Valley could hit 90 degrees aga
