Ohio Republican Senator Jon Husted's extremist record on abortion is out of touch with the citizens of his state of Ohio, which recently voted to enshrine abortion rights in their state constitution after the fall of Roe v. Wade. Husted called the abortion pill mifepristone "unsafe" and sought to ban its use, and has backed abortion bans without exceptions for rape or incest or even for the life of the mother.
