PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Wednesday's stormy weather pattern lingers into Thursday as the threat of severe weather fades across the Pacific Northwest.

Another fall storm moves east Thursday, keeping the wind and rain in Portland's forecast. Afternoon temperatures are expected to remain in the upper 50s to low 60s. Rain showers are expected to last through the day as winds gust close to 30 mph at times.

Rain accumulation will be near a half inch to three-quarters of an inch from Thursday morning to Friday night. This wet weather trend will keep Portland above the monthly average by more than an inch.

Snow elevations will remain relatively high as valley temperatures sit a few degrees higher than the seasonal average for early November. Snow is possible as low as 5,000' on Thursday, but th
