RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - For days, we’ve been giving the First Alert to our first shot of true winter air, arriving Sunday night (11/9), and lasting through Tuesday.

Now there are signs that there could be a few snowflakes flying in Central Virginia Monday night and Tuesday morning. This is a very low chance but it’s something we’ll track. There are signs showing up on the two major Model ensembles (click here for an explanation of ensemble forecasting) .

Here’s the European ensemble. Each row is a different solution-- enough of them show signs of a weak disturbance Monday night producing some light snow.
