SPENCER CO., Ind. (WFIE) - Animal Wellness Action officials announced they will be offering a $2,500 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the killing of a dog in Spencer County.
According to a press release, the case involves a dog that was found tied to a pipeline marker and shot in a secluded area west of Grandview on October 31.
Investigators report that the dog was a young adult male in good health before the crime and was found without a microchip.
Officials say the leash and collar used to tie the animal were recovered as evidence.
