HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) - The City of Hartford announced that it has a host of holiday events planned for the season.

Mayor Arunan Arulampalam is joining members of the Hartford Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Hartford Arts Council for a news conference Thursday at 11 a.m.

The news conference was set to happen at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art.

The mayor said popular holiday events include Winterfair: Hartford’s Holiday Market at Union Station, Pratt Street’s Winter Village, Glow Hartford, Winterfest Hartford’s free ice skating in Bushnell Park.

Live performances include Christmas on the Rocks at TheaterWorks Hartford, A Christmas Carol at Hartford Stage, and Connecticut Ballet’s The Nutcracker at The Bushnell.
