CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Major women’s college basketball games are set to take place at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte through 2028.
The announcement, made Thursday, Nov. 6, extends the Charlotte Sports Foundation’s partnership with Ally Financial to continue hosting the “Ally Tipoff.”
“Creating a dynamic lineup for the next three years ensures fans will see some of the most compelling matchups in the sport, while reinforcing Charlotte as a hub for championship-caliber basketball,” said Will Pitts, CEO of the Charlotte Sports Foundation.
The Ally Tipoff is recognized as one of the nation’s premier early-season women’s college basketball showcases.
