CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - A prayer service for Owen Kenney, the College of Charleston student who went missing in the early-morning hours of Halloween, was held on campus Wednesday night.
Hosted by the Alpha Tau Omega College of Charleston chapter, they invited the campus to attend and show support.
Kenney is a member of the fraternity.
“On behalf of Alpha Tau Omega, we want to express our deepest concern and unwavering support for our brother, Owen Kenney,” the fraternity said in a statement. “Owen is not just a member of our fraternity; he is family. His absence weighs heavily on all of us, and during this difficult time, we are united in prayer for Owen and his family.”
Officers say 19-year-old Kenney was walking alone onto the Ravenel Bridge pedestrian walkway shortly after 3 a.m
