FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) - SSM Health marked a significant milestone Wednesday with a ceremonial groundbreaking for the expansion of its cancer care facility at 480 E. Division St. in Fond du Lac.

The event celebrated the start of a $15 million project that will enhance access to comprehensive, compassionate cancer care for patients across the region.

As the only accredited cancer center in the area, SSM Health Cancer Care has served patients from more than 29 Wisconsin counties over the past 30 years. The expansion reaffirms SSM Health’s commitment to providing advanced, local cancer care in Fond du Lac and surrounding communities.

Once complete, the facility will unite medical oncology, radiation oncology, and infusion services under one roof, streamlining care and improving patients’
