WOOD COUNTY, Ohio — A Venezuelan man who posed as a teenage student at Perrysburg High School was indicted Thursday by a Wood County grand jury on multiple charges.

Anthony Emmanuel Labrador-Sierra is charged with forgery, a fifth-degree felony that carries a maximum prison sentence of one year. He is also charged with perjury, a third-degree felony, which carries a maximum three-year prison sentence.

According to the Wood County Prosecutor's Office, the forgery charge is for Labrador-Sierra allegedly using a fake birth certificate to enroll in Perrysburg schools as a student, despite being an adult. The perjury charge is for allegedly making sworn statements about his age and legal status.

Labrador-Sierra is set for arraignment at Wood County Court of Common Pleas on Nov. 13. The case
