A police probe is underway after a bus driver was attacked in the city centre on Wednesday.

Officers were called to Howard Street at around 5.35pm on Wednesday, November 5, following reports of the incident.

It is currently unclear if the driver required medical attention. Officers say enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

Images from the scene show the street at a standstill with members of the public looking on.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5.35pm on Wednesday, 5 November, 2025, we received a report of a bus driver assaulted in Howard Street, Glasgow.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
