The Bruce Grey Poverty Task Force is seeking volunteers for a program that supports low-income individuals and others with filing their taxes.

The volunteers are needed for the 2025 Community Volunteer Income Tax Program/Canada Revenue Agency (CVITP/CRA), which provides free tax filing for low-income individuals, seniors, people with disabilities, newcomers and others.

Without the support, many people miss out on thousands of dollars in refundable benefits, the poverty task force says.
