BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Seven members of LSU’s Chapter of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity have been issued summons as the university continues to investigate allegations of hazing.

Police records obtained by WAFB show that LSU police were contacted in October about hazing at an off-campus location earlier that month. The complainant alleged that pledges were punched and kicked in the torso and were forced to do calisthenics.

The following summons has been issued in connection with the incident:

Thomas Lavergne was issued a misdemeanor summons for criminal hazing, simple battery, and principal to theft.

Brody Tanner was issued a misdemeanor summons for criminal hazing and simple battery.
