A pretty day today, but our next weather maker arrives by tomorrow, bringing likely strong to severe storms — and behind them, the coldest air we’ve seen all season.

Lots of sunshine is expected today, with above-average highs in the mid-70s.

Friday marks round one of our unsettled weather pattern for the next few days. A cold front will push through, bringing the potential for strong to severe storms during the late afternoon and into the overnight hours. Damaging winds and heavy rainfall are the main threats. Highs will be in the low 70s.

Saturday brings another chance for stronger thunderstorms. A 1/5 marginal risk is in place, with the same threats expected from Friday. Highs will once again be in the low 70s.
