KYLE, Texas — A man in Kyle, Texas, faces at least 24 years behind bars after pleading guilty to multiple armed robberies that happened earlier this year.

Yael Williams, Jr., 38, pleaded guilty to two counts of brandishing a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence and one count of discharging a firearm during an in relation to a crime of violence.

Court documents show that Williams was involved in armed robberies at two 7-Elevens and one Subway in Austin in June and July. According to the documents, Williams used a .22 caliber revolver to threaten workers and steal money "and other property by force."

When a bystander tried to stop Williams at the Subway, he shot at the bystander and at one other person.
