UPDATE: An arrest has been made in a shooting investigation that started last week in Pikeville.

The Bledsoe County Sheriff's Department (BCSD) says Breyton Lewis has been charged in a shooting that happened on October 30 in the woods in the area of Holly Drive.

The BCSD said Lewis was hunting illegally when he fired his shotgun and hit a person who was with him.

Lewis was arrested unrelated drug charges the day the incident happened.

He is now charged with Felony Reckless Endangerment Involving Serious Bodily Injury following the investigation of the shooting.

The name of the person who was shot has not been released but the victim was in stable condition at last check.
