A stretch of Vineland Avenue in central Hamilton has reopened after a body was discovered near the road early Thursday.

Hamilton police were called about the person around 4:30 a.m., said Const. Trevor McKenna.

There are no signs of foul play, he said, adding that the coroner attended the scene.

Vineland was closed from Garfield to Sherman avenues. The road reopened before 10:30 a.m.
