Nothing is publicly known about a person who police say died “suddenly” in Port Rowan.
In a press release, Norfolk County OPP said police were called around 1:50 p.m. on Tuesday to a house on Front Road, where officers found a person dead.
“While the cause of death cannot yet be confirmed, preliminary information suggests that this is an isolated incident with no indication of a broader threat,” Const. Andrew Gamble said in the media release.
The investigation into what police are calling a “sudden death” is being led by Norfolk’s OPP’s crime unit, with help from the coroner’s office and experts from OPP Forensic Identification Services and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
In an email to The Spectator, Gamble declined to say whether foul play has been ruled out.
