EUTAWVILLE, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - We now know the name of a person who died after a crash in Orangeburg County on Wednesday.

South Carolina Highway Patrol says it happened on Acme Street near Tunita Street around 2:50 p.m.

A 1997 Honda Gold Wing Trike was traveling west on Acme Street when a 2024 Ford SUV attempted to make a left turn into a private drive, officials say.

The driver and sole occupant of the Honda Trike, 79-year-old William “Bill” Williams, of Addidas Street, was pronounced dead on the scene, according to the Orangeburg County Coroner’s Office.

Officials say Williams died of blunt force injuries sustained in the collision and that the manner of death is accident.
