LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A 66-year-old man has been arrested in connection to a shooting at Shawnee Park that injured two.
LMPD said around 5:15 p.m., officers were called to the incident at 45th and West Broadway. There, they found a man inside a vehicle who had been shot.
As officers were giving first aid, they were advised of a second man who had been shot in the arm. Police said they found him in the park and gave him medical attention until EMS could arrive.
Both men were taken to UofL Hospital, where they are expected to survive their injuries.
On Thursday, LMPD announced it had arrested 66-year-old Stevon Logan Wednesday in connection to the shooting. He’s been charged with one count of 1st degree assault, one count of 2nd degree assault and four counts of wanton endangerment.
