CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - The SEMO Women’s Basketball team defeated Evansville 71-66 in the home opener Thursday at the Show Me Center.

Charme Taylor and Lexi Mccully led the Redhawks with 16 points each.

With the win, SEMO improves to 1-1 on the season and will host Missouri State Tuesday at 6:30.
