A house in Howard was destroyed in a fire Nov. 6, and the home next door also received damage, according to Howard Fire Rescue.

Howard firefighters responded to a call at 2:30 a.m. to the 1300 block of Rockwell Road.

Firefighters were still on scene as of 12:45 p.m. ensuring the fire didn't restart.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The fire department did not release if anyone was injured in the fire.
