QUINCY (WGEM) - The party never stops for the Adams County Bicentennial.
The students at Blessed Sacrament Catholic School were given a way to keep history alive Wednesday.
They were given a 12-inch wooden ruler with over 30 historically significant events from Adams County history.
These rulers were provided by the Refreshment Services Pepsi.
They have donated over 15,000 rulers for students throughout Adams County.
“History’s important, and that was part of it. The other thing was, it was to celebrate the 200 years. And this was a good way of doing it,” said Ronald J. Vecchie, partial owner of Refreshment Services Pepsi. “We just like giving back to the community. And it was something that was gonna last hopefully a long time.”
