Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Timmins, Cochrane and Iroquois Falls.

Snowfall with total amounts of about 15 cm is expected. Near zero visibility at times in heavy snow can be expected.

The warning is in effect for Thursday night into Friday.

A low pressure system will bring snow, which could be heavy at times, across the region beginning late Thursday evening.

Travel along Highway 11 will likely be difficult due to accumulating snow and reduced visibility in heavy snow.

The snow is expected to taper to light flurries Friday night.

Roads and walkways will likely be difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.

Visibility will likely be reduced at times and road closures are possible.
