HATTON, N.D. (KVRR) — A grain elevator fire Hatton, North Dakota is now 100 percent contained.
The fire at Anchor Ingredients was reported around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday and around a dozen fire crews responded.
At least two buildings filled with wheat were on fire and one had collapsed as of last night.
The fire was out around 3:30 a.m. but two crews remained on scene monitoring hotspots.
In a statement, Anchor Ingredients thanked the nearly 100 firefighters and first responders who worked to keep the community safe.
They are now working to assess the extent of the damage and determine the next steps.
