A Coon Rapids family left temporarily homeless after a house fire is asking for community support.

On Tuesday morning, a fire broke out at the Coon Rapids home of Johanna Jacquez and her three children. No one was home at the time of the fire, but the fire caused significant damage to the property and their possessions.

A friend of Jacquez recently created a GoFundMe to support the family in the aftermath of the fire.

"Since Johanna’s family is displaced, the most immediate need is support for basic necessities. She and her family will also need continued support in the coming months while she gets back on her feet," the GoFundMe reads.
