FARGO — WDAY News has confirmed with the FBI that agents were active in Fargo on Thursday, Nov. 6, but tell the media that’s all they will say.
Officers wearing FBI vests blocked off Fifth Avenue South between 15th Street and 17th Street at about noon on Thursday, a block north of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
WDAY News also saw Fargo police at the corner of Fourth Avenue South.
The area was cleared less than an hour later.
A spokesperson for the FBI’s field office in Minneapolis said the agency was in Fargo for “court authorized law enforcement activity.”
They could not say if agents were serving a warrant or if anyone was taken into custody.
