Two people were killed and a third was hospitalized after a shooting at an apartment in Hialeah on Thursday, authorities said.

The triple shooting happened at the building in the 2700 block of W. 67th Place in the Lago Grande community.

Hialeah Police confirmed two people were killed and the third was hospitalized but gave no other information.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials confirmed their helicopter responded to the scene to assist Hialeah Fire Rescue with transporting a patient to the hospital.

No other information was immediately known.
