STEVENS POINT – What says Wisconsin more than a blend of spices and herbs made with locally-sourced hops?
HOPZAH is a new central Wisconsin-based culinary brand that will debut its fresh hop-infused pizza seasoning at a launch event from 5-9 p.m. Nov. 7 at the Stevens Point Brewery Taproom, 2617 Water St.
Founders Michael More and Tyler Marchant created HOPZAH, showcasing locally grown hops within a careful mix of spices, designed to enhance pizza with natural flavors and aromas, according to a release from HOPZAH LLC. They were inspired by Wisconsin’s brewing and hop-growing culture and history and wanted to bring that craftsmanship to everyday food, the release said. More and Marchant spent more than a year developing the recipe and holding weekly tasting sessions to create HOPZAH.
