WHAT ARE THE CHANGES FOR COUNCILLORS?

Approved in a 9-6 vote Tuesday and set to take effect when the next council is sworn in on Nov. 15, 2026, base councillor pay will rise from the median full-time income in the London census metropolitan area to the 70th percentile – meaning councillors would earn more than 70 per cent of London region residents.
