SWANTON, Ohio — An adult woman was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash on Thursday at a Swanton intersection derided by nearby residents for issues they say make it prone to crashes.
One of the vehicles was making a left turn at the intersection of County Road D and Sherman-White Road, and the other vehicle did not see this turn being made, causing the collision, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
It is not clear at this time how many people in total were involved in the crash.
Residents in the area say crashes are common at the intersection, but it is unclear whose responsibility it would be to fix it, as one side is in Lucas County and the other is in Fulton County.
One resident of 44 years says poor visibility at the intersection is caused by bushes and trees on both
