FLORENCE, S.C. — The UNC Pembroke volleyball team registered 14 blocks and hist .168 from the net on the way to a 3-2 (15-25, 25-22, 25-21, 23-25, 16-14) victory over Francis Marion on Wednesday evening inside the Smith University Center.

The Braves (14-13, 11-6 CC) have now won their last two matches and have won two out of the last three meetings against Francis Marion. The setback for the Patriots (18-9, 15-2 CC) snapped an eight game win streak and marks just their second loss at home this season.
