QUINCY (WGEM) - John Wood Community College hosted the Illinois Tri-State Regional College Fair Thursday.

Hundreds of potential future college students packed into the Student Activity Center to meet with more than 40 colleges from around the country.

“I want to go to John Wood for at least the two years and then transfer to a bigger college and that’s what I’m here looking for, the second college that I want to go to after my two years to get my major,” said Olivia Clark, a Bluffs High School senior.

The event gave students and parents the opportunity to connect with representatives from colleges and universities and ask questions to help them make decisions about their academic futures.
