MINOT, ND (KXNET) — It's now day 37 of the government shutdown, and North Dakota lawmakers say more services could be cut in the next few weeks.

Thursday morning, North Dakota Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak joined Minnesota congressman and House majority whip Tom Emmer to talk about what's happening now on Capitol Hill. This week, they say thousands of domestic flights around the country could be canceled, starting tomorrow.

"With the reduction in flights that is going to be occurring starting tomorrow, and over time, a reduction every day in the number of flights that are going to be able to fly in our country," Fedorchak said, "we're going to see Americans impacted by that.
