IDAHO FALLS – Franklin Building Supply, a Boise-based lumber company, celebrated the opening of its newest location in Idaho Falls Wednesday.
The Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting at 2241 East Industrial Boulevard. The Idaho Falls store is the company’s 18th location, according to its website.
During Wednesday’s celebration, Bryce Luker, the company’s regional manager, told those in attendance the Idaho Falls store has been a long time coming and he’s thrilled to see it become a reality.
“Within about three months of (the Pocatello) store opening, Franklin came to me and said, ‘Hey, we’d really like to be in Idaho Falls,” Luker said. “That was 2003. I really don’t want to go into too much detail about why it took over 20 years to get a location in Idaho Fal
