BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — The WVU Cancer Institute has named Meredith Williams the Regional Director of Cancer Services for WVU Medicine’s Central Region.

In this new role, Williams will oversee cancer services and further the Institute’s mission to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for United Hospital Center, Summersville Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph Hospital, Elkins Corridor Medical Center, and Weston Clinic.

Williams, a seasoned oncology professional, brings extensive experience to her new position. She previously served as the Director of Cancer Services at WVU Medicine United Hospital Center, Oncology Clinical Research Specialist at WVU Research Corp., Oncology Specialty Care Nurse, and Oncology Preceptor at WVU Cancer Institute.
