JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. —
A man was arrested after an assault and robbery of a food truck operator in Jefferson County.
Deputies say 29-year-old Keith Watts was arrested Nov. 5 in Birmingham.
He is accused of robbing and assaulting a woman at her food truck last month in the 4300 block of Bessemer Superhighway.
The victim was treated for minor injuries.
Watts faces several charges, including first-degree robbery and burglary, and is being held without bond.
Sheriff Mark Pettway stated, "Great work by our team in getting this suspect off the streets of Jefferson County so quickly. I appreciate the team's dedication and tenacity, and I also appreciate the unwavering support of our citizens."
