NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Thousands of Peloton bikes are being recalled after the company received reports of the seat post breaking and detaching during use.
The recall is for around 833,000 units of the Peloton Original Series Bike+ Model PL02.
According to the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission, there have been two reports of injuries to users who fell.
Individuals who own Peloton Original Series Bike+ units with model number PL02 and serial numbers beginning with the letter "T" should contact Peloton for a free repair.
The company is offering consumers a free seat post that can be self-installed.
