When the Pittsburgh Steelers swung a trade to acquire wide receiver D.K. Metcalf in a deal with the Seattle Seahawks during the offseason, the general assumption was that Metcalf would rack up a ton of targets, particularly after the Steelers dealt away fellow receiver George Pickens.

However, that has not been the case.

Metcalf has been targeted just 47 times in eight games this season and is on pace for a career low in that category. Considering that the Steelers have major depth issues in their receiving corps, his lack of attention is definitely odd.
