Ihave appreciated the long-form coverage on the rising cost of health care in Michigan, and your inclusion of the small business perspective. We have prided ourselves on offering health care for our employees and their families for many years, and we cannot imagine having to take away that benefit. However, as stated in the article ("3 health insurers dropping coverage for 200,000 in Michigan," Oct. 31), excessive premium increases are becoming the norm, which prevents us from investing in our business otherwise, such as by hiring new employees.Small businesses are adept at doing more with less, but we also must absorb the rising cost of nearly everything.
