STAMFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Some of Connecticut's most prominent business leaders gathered at the University of Connecticut's campus in Stamford on Thursday for the latest event in the "Made Leadership Series."

The event series is hosted by the Connecticut Business and Industry Association and featured internationally-known Connecticut companies and smaller businesses.

Trading notes on how to craft the "secret sauce" of an iconic brand was the theme of Thursday's Made Leadership event, headlined by some of Connecticut's most well-known businessmen like Stew Leonard, Jr., whose family's brand has been going strong in the state for nearly 60 years, all fueled by a passion for food.

"The one thing we look for is really the passion, you know? That's really the secret sauce," Leonard said.
