FORT TOTTEN, N.D. (KMOT) – Search crews located the remains of Danica White Thursday afternoon, a spokesperson for the Spirit Lake Tribe confirmed with Your News Leader.

Vicki Alberts said crews located White around 3 p.m. during a water search, though an exact location was not released.

White was last heard from on Saturday after investigators said she called 911, asking for help and saying she was cold. Nearly two dozen agencies joined a massive search effort in and around the Spirit Lake Reservation.

Alberts said at this time there is no indication of foul play. She said White’s next of kin have been notified.
