A record 65% voter turnout has been recorded in the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections across 121 constituencies. The second phase of voting will now take place on November 11th. During voting, the Deputy Chief Minister's car was attacked in Lakhisarai. RJD MLC Ajay Singh and Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha engaged in a street argument.

During this time, the Deputy Chief Minister accused Ajay Singh of creating a ruckus after drinking alcohol. Following this, the police conducted an alcohol test on Ajay Singh, which came back negative. Ajay said that the Deputy Chief Minister is afraid of losing, which is why he is distraught.
