ATLANTA — A wild turn of events during a dispute resulted in a woman being hit by a car and then stabbed, Atlanta Police said.

Just after 6 p.m. on Nov. 6, officers said they found the victim on Magnolia Street NW injured from a stab wound. Police learned through their investigation that the initial incident occurred just a couple of miles away on William H. Boarders Drive.

That's where officers said a dispute occurred, and the victim was hit by a car before being stabbed.

The woman was taken to the hospital for her injuries.

No information was released about a possible suspect. Investigators are still looking into the circumstances surrounding the incident to learn more about what unfolded.
