CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. — The search continues for a Cherokee County man who has been missing since Sunday after walking away from his home with his dog.

Canton Police said they are searching for 61-year-old James "Greg" Powell after he left his home Sunday at 9:09 a.m. His vehicle was found located at the River Green Tennis Courts at 111 Raquet Club Drive.

Powell left home with his dog, Ally, who was found several days ago, according to a social media post from the National Center for Missing and Endangered, Inc.

He was last seen wearing a large blue jacket and blue sweatpants.
