CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating a homicide in east Charlotte after a man was found dead at a business on Thursday.

Police say the man's coworkers found him dead at a business on Central Avenue near Oakland Avenue. Investigators did not specify which business the man was found dead at, but said it was at a warehouse space.

Police did not confirm how the man was killed but said he was found with traumatic injuries at the scene.
