LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - 48 hours after the devastating UPS plane crash, community members from across Louisville and Kentucky came together to remember the victims and to lean on one another for support.
The vigil started at exactly 5:14 pm, which was the exact time of the crash on Tuesday night
“Whether you’re talking about the unit in of itself or UPS in of itself, we’re still one big family, and that family grew a little bit smaller,” said Adam Jackson, who works for UPS.
Jackson told WAVE he had left the site of the crash shortly before it happened. He also said he usually takes Grade Lane home, but didn’t on Tuesday because of traffic.
