For all the bold chatter before the season began, exuding confidence that a new starting five with a key addition to worked into the process, the Raptors will tell you privately that they were not certain it’d work out.

They thought that the offence would fit, and that Scottie Barnes and RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley would mesh well with Brandon Ingram but there were concerns.

So far, totally unfounded concerns.

No one’s suffering, everyone’s eating, there have been many more good offensive nights than bad and, all of a sudden, Toronto has one of the most efficient offences in the league.
