ESSEX, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - A Middlesex woman was issued a citation after she reportedly hit two cars along Vermont Route 15.

Vermont State Police received a report shortly before 5:00 p.m. on Thursday that someone was driving a black BMW X3 north "erratically" on Browns Trace in Jericho. The driver reportedly hit a car at the intersection of VT-15 and then continued east, where it hit yet another car. No injuries were reported.

The BMW was reportedly spotted in Essex and intercepted by Essex police. The driver was identified and issued a citation to appear in court in December on two charges of leaving the scene of an accident.
